Teaching for the WEA is an enriching and rewarding experience. Our tutors hail from all walks of life, from community group workers, professional experts and subject enthusiasts, to experienced teachers and lecturers.
We currently require tutors for the following subjects and localities:
Personal Development tutor to deliver an 'Identity and Self Esteem’ course Area – Clacton/Jaywick/Colchester
Humanities tutors ((History, Art history and Literature) Area - South and West Essex specifically Rayleigh, Leigh on Sea, Great Dunmow, Benfleet, Billericay, Wickford, Writtle , Loughton and Epping
Functional Skills (Maths and English) and ESOL tutors in ESSEX - Harlow, Basildon, Southend and Brentwood, and in SUFFOLK - Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Felixstowe, Newmarket and Lowestoft.
