Whether you want to develop an interest or hobby or gain essential skills such as improving your English we may be able to help. Classes may be run through local branches or our community outreach programme. We have over 80 branches in the southern region all supported by local volunteers! The WEA is the largest voluntary provider of adult education in the United Kingdom so if you would like to support our work by becoming a member click here
We also have a large programme of courses in East Surrey through our partnership with East Surrey College. Look for WEA courses including a wide variety of dance styles through the WEA course search. ESC courses can be found on their web page . This programme is complemented by a range of activities in sheltered housing schemes for older learners

Information and Advice
WEA Southern Region provides information to all students who enrol on our courses. If the course best suited to you is with another educational provider such as a local college, we will provide you with all the information to take that next step. Please click here for information about the the WEA's services, the Careers Advice Service, and nextstep. Most WEA courses are free to people who receive an income related benefit and to their unwaged dependents. Some courses are externally funded and free to all learners. Others charge a fee in accordance with regional policy, which should be paid within two weeks of the start of the course.
