That’s why we provide Ofsted-assessed education for our students from all walks of life, right in the heart of their communities.
The role of the post is to service the ESOL Register. The register is a web hosted data base which allows those wishing to learn ESOL in Glasgow to be registered in one place. The database holds information on learners which allows the ESOL partnership in Glasgow to allocate places to learners. All providers use the website to recruit learners including all 3 colleges, WEA, Glasgow Life and the ESOL Forum. At the moment there are 12,000 people on the register. 4000 are in learning and the remainder are waiting for a place.
This is an important resource in the city in terms of the management and planning of ESOL and the allocation student places.
