WEA have an exciting opportunity for a Management and Governance Officer to join a busy central team In Cambridge, we are looking for a strong administrator with excellent communication skills and the ability to organise and prioritise workload.

The post holder will lead the support of the coordination and servicing of regional management and governance. The post holder will act as a conduit between the Support Services Implementation Manager and the regional support services team and represent the region in the national support services network. The postholder will work closely with the Regional Education Manager, Regional Chair and Association Services, to ensure compliance with appropriate governance policy and procedures.   

This role requires a great communicator who can effectively communicate at all levels; you will be skilled at balancing priorities for a busy team, the post holder will provide essential support to our management and governance meetings, including the preparation of accurate minutes that clearly capture decisions to take the work of the Region forward, You will lead on communicating positively with our large network of voluntary members and be confident at using IT based systems to make things happen, there is a requirement to understand Health and Safety and Safeguarding and Ideally have experience of work in a charity or in the education sector.
